It's definitely an odd piece of work.

Ben geeks out over Dissidia and other psp stuff!

Nice! You are definitely drowning in SRPG goodness lol. And I've always heard Dissidia was good but it was never high on my list of games to get...but that picture with Terra! Got my nostalgic juices flowing (okay, that was a strange metaphor). I'll be keeping an eye out for it now Smile

This one is for Dave. Thanks 4 the psp, brotha!

That Dave fellow soundsl like an awesome guy! Now is a good time to get PSP games too. I recently finished up Mega Man Powered UP. I second the other recommendations for it mentioned above. And it's got so much content it could keep you busy for a long time. And make sure to grab Jeanne d'Arc. I think you commented on my review of that? Great game Smile

Deals!Deals! Deux Ex! I am on the Brink!

I second that. Deus Ex is one of my favorite games of this generation, despite the boss fights. That one's easily worth $12 by itself.

Reading Is Funda...Funto...Farndi...oh hell. Books!

I just got Hyrule Historia for wife's birthday this week! In fact, her birthday was the 11th...the day you posted this blog. Strange bit of synchronicity right there Smile

I haven't had a chance to do anything more than flip through it yet but it looks really good. And the physical quality of how it's put together is top notch. For anybody else interested in getting it I would suggest checking Amazon. I got it from there for $20.

Star Fox 64 and Uselessness

Posted on 04/13/2013 at 04:06 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Man, anything that interrupts a run through Star Fox 64 is a bummer, it's such a great game. I wanna get the 3DS rerelease but the game doesn't seem to be coming down in price at all Frown But anyway, I hope you're able to resolve your N64 woes.

Whats your GOTY so far for PS3 and Xbox 360??

Posted on 04/13/2013 at 03:54 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Definitely going with BioShock Infinite. As you said it's a little early to call this but that's such a great game.

Yeah, it's a great arrangement. Glad you liked it!

Folklore for PS3

Posted on 04/12/2013 at 11:09 PM | Filed Under Blogs

My wife played Folklore last year (on my recommendation, 'natch) and really liked it, though she never did finish it. I haven't played it yet but I'd like to. Definitely does that dreamy fairy world thing very well. And I'm confident that the only reason the sixaxis controls are prominent in combat is because Sony published the game and in 2007 when this came out Sony was still defending their choice of sixaxis over rumble. That same thinking killed Lair and Factor 5, unfortunately. I'm glad Folklore still turned out so well.

Yeah, a long blog here today but lots of good stuff here. My wife snagged a new copy of Fallout 3 GOTY edition from some website for $10. I haven't started it yet of course lol. How long was your total playtime?

I love those GBA and DS Castlevania games!

How did you snag a free download of Crysis? I have Crysis 2 in my backlog and I'd like to play the first game but I don't want to pay $20 for it on XBLA lol. You can't beat free games!
