Dark Souls, if only I had been here earlier haha. I have been raving and ranting about that game since it's release, and was raving about Demon's Souls up until the day of Dark Souls release. I'm definitely a bit sad it didn't make it on this list, but this game was so jam packed of quality titles that the masochistic Dark Souls was bound to be left behind. It's personally one of my top 3 games of the year though.
They should start calling products "gravity compatible" to show that they are built to work within Earth's gravitational pull.
Ah yes I loved that Pumpkin Bar chandelier as well. I love that people could get mad at you in the break for breaking their stuff - it was a nice little touch to point out Link's regular deviant behaviour.
Great review, and I completely agree about the controls feeling off in this one compared to the original. It kind of wrecks the experience of an awesome game. Once I got used to it I didn't mind it, but the first one seemed slightly more polished in it's controls, which is strange for a sequel to change up.
Why am I excited to play this game? Well there's a few reasons. Insomniac is a solid developer that has never made a game I haven't enjoyed. Ratchet & Clank is one of the few video games that my fiancee also loves, and we played A Crack In Time together - despite it being one player. Having an R&C game that the 2 of us can play through co-op will be awesome to say the least. I'm a huge Insomniac fan - from Spyro, to Ratchet, to Resistance - So it'll be nice to play this Ratchet game that strays from the norm of the R&C series.
