Its all good Joe. Everyone has their guilty pleasures,lol. For the record I was watching Pokymon when I was 18. I started watching Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, and Ed,Edd,&Eddy when I was 23. I'm 35 now and I got tons of Cartoon network shows in my Netflix Q. I'm just a big ass kid I suppose,lol.
No offense taken Alex. I'm just curious cause I have not heard of this until reading Brokens blog. Which only touched on this vaguely. Anyway I get where your coming from, I think it sucks when a subculture gets hit with a negative stereotype based on a misunderstanding or worse out right lies. As for the appretation of anthropoformic characters I'm totally down with that. I grew up with Loony Toons, Disney,half of the Hanna-Barbarra roster,ect,lol. So I'm sure thats only a small piece of the spectrum.
I'm a big fan of the Power Puff Girls too, but I would not want to be labled as such. Like a Bro-Puff or Power Bruff, I think its the word Bronie that throws me. I have very eccentric tatse so I try not to pass judgment on what other people like. Unless its Bieber, Cyrus, Gaga, or some other stain on our culture. Your fair game then,lol. This term furrys is new to me. Is it like an animorphic fetish or something? If so then pretty much most men would fall into this catagory even if they won't admit it. Perfect example Avatar. I don't think there is man alive who was not down for some giant, amazon alien kitty...kitty.
Yeah, I got screwed out of my pre-order bonuses and I still can not figure out if it is Squenix or Gamstops fault. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that they will get around to putting out a game actually worthy of the name Final Fantasy name again, but I won't hold my breath. My expirence with Realm Reborn was hit or miss. I got two toons at lv 35 and stoped my subscription mostly because I just didn't have time to play. But in retrospec there are a lot of things I overlooked at the time that have me unsure as to whether I want to go back or not. I hope it works out for you, because overall it is a fun game but it could be better.
I think the fantasy aspect of this has less to do with their age and more to do with who they are. I have not read this yet but I have read a lot of his books and the idea of men and women being compfortable with sex and their own sexuality is a theme or at the least hinted at in many of them. A lot of our attitudes towards sex are often formed by religion, society, and our parents before we even know what sex is. I will have to read this and get back to you, because to me sounds like an issue of perception. Like the old saying "a picture is worth a thousands words".I need to see what you are talking about.

Its about time Nintendo pulls their head out. This is why I like to wait and see what happens. Nintendos won't stand for getting beat at their own game.(pun intended) The console war was DOD and pretty stale, but this changes everything.
