Yeah every review is a bit slanted based on the reviewer's taste, and we tend to find folks who have similar tastes. The reviews I don't care for are the ones that have been slanted by the game developers who exchange favorable reviews for exclusives to stories.

Geez I haven't played a board game in a while. I think the only time we would other than Chess or Checkers is when my brother and cousins would get together during holidays and play Monopoly but we do the house rules (all fines in the middle, etc.) as well as random side deals going on. I don't think we ever finished a game but it was a lot of fun.

Hell yeah the Sims AND Tony Hawk! I would have thrown C&C Red Alert 2, into that group, but I only played the first C&C Red Alert game. I spent a lot of time playing the Tony Hawk games in college. Talk about fun games.
