I have the deluxe version preordered, as well. This game is so hard to pin down. I'm seeing impressions that are super positive, but hearing that the game is basically on fire, and might not even make the November date. Like Cary said below, looks like World of Final Fantasy might be scratching that FF itch of mine, and will be out next month.

Hmm. I still don't think that the Joker would get the tattoos he did. I mean, if they want to go that route I would expect him to have some more twisted things. But then again, he does tend to stick to a playing card and clown gimmick in his choices of thugs and lairs. I dunno. I just know I don't like that version of the character. But you make me think that I'd like the next Batman movie to be based on A Death in the Family, with a pre-grill Joker killing Robin.
Thanks! It has always been my goal with Nerds Without Pants to make it somewhat timeless. Since we don't really cover news (other than our E3 specials) and we're not only playing the bleeding edge releases the show kind of stands on its own, and I tried to make our topics in the old format into something that you can enjoy just as much a couple years later. I've had some people go back and start from the beginning, and besides the noticeable drop in audio and editing quality, they hold up pretty well.
I love the interaction with listeners, and I'm hoping for more of it, as well as hoping to grow the show even more. Let me know what you think of episode 94, I'm quite proud of it!
Looks like my original save clocked in right at 30 hours. Funny how you remember these older games as being really long, but that is a perfect length for an RPG to me these days.
I think what I've come to realize is that I'm not much of a Naughty Dog fan. I thought the Crash games were "fine", had no interest in playing the Jak games, skipped Uncharted, and thought The Last of Us was a great game with some annoying issues. I admire them for what they've done with animation and graphics, but don't feel a strong pull towards their catalog.
I was up until 2:30 last night because I cleared out three of the big bosses around Cyseal and was on a roll. I'm paying for it now. Thanks for the input! We got your selections in the show (we just finished recording).
I'll have to pop my cart in and see if my save file is still there, but I feel like I took way longer to finish Chrono Trigger. But that was also in the days when I would hit max level in RPGs.
