Quick Hits: Bought Super Mario Run, And Other Randoms

I got Super Mario Run as well.  It's all right, I guess.  It's just a continuous runner using New Super Mario Bros. assets.  There are a few creative ideas here and there, and I do like how you can pull off stylish moves in Toad Rally (reminds me of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat).  But I don't think it's totally worth ten bucks, and if they start doing microtransactions I won't be supporting that.  I guess if you REALLY like Mario games you'll enjoy it.  While I do like Mario games a lot, I enjoy other NIntendo properties much more, like Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Animal Crossing, etc.

Here is my Super Mario Run friend code if you'd like to add me, though.

Yeah like I said, I really would've liked to have played that one.  Guess we can't play them all!

Ah you're so lucky!  That stinks that it's so hard to find!  I hear it has Earthworm Jim and Boogerman as playable characters, too.  I think I heard that anyway.

The Midway Arcade Pack for LEGO Dimensions is so weird. I got to review it.

I'd like to find the Crash Bandicoot Skylanders but I haven't seen them in stores yet.

Let me know if you ever find the Barbella Skylander because I thought that one was kind of cool, too.

I'm going to see Rogue One with my family on Sunday evening.  I liked the first preview they showed because the alarm in the background sounded like an elephant.  So I'm going to be looking for elephants in the movie on Sunday.

I rented and played the first two Clayfighter games on the SNES.  But by the time that the N64 one came out, it was hard for me to find a place that I could rent it at, and I was a poor college student and couldn't buy it anyway.

Rare has had some talented music composers, that's for sure.  The one people refer to most is David Wise.

I never played that Clayfighter game.  I wish I did.

Diddy Kong Racing has a lot of good music.  Frosty Village is the one that usually comes to my mind first for some reason.

Yeah some ice levels can feel kind of Christmasy.

The best part of Sonic Lost World was the Yoshi and Zelda DLC.

Maybe when I have time and if I feel like it, I'll do some research to see if there really was a sequel.  Would be interesting if there was.

It's beginning to look a lot like Xmas...

Yeah I have trouble finding good BBQ places the few times I've been up north.
