Changes To Xbox Live

Posted on 05/14/2014 at 01:50 PM | Filed Under Blogs

My Grandparents had one of those, but theirs had a record player one side and a radio on the other. You flipped the tops of the speakers and there they are.

I do agree that the game choices are old but for folks like myself who are late adopters to the 360 (I don't have a XB1) those are new games to us (I never touched them on the PS3). I think the point of those games is that it's geared toward the consumer who doesn't play games, or the folks who play with games on their phones/tablets. They lure people into buying their product for the media uses, and then throw in some games to either get people to buy more games, and/or make them feel that their money isn't wasted on Gold.

I'm digging your .2 cents. Usually from what I've seen some folks can turn this into a "My console is better than yours" fanboy war.

Changes To Xbox Live

As I wrote in another reply having the services like Netflix, Youtube, etc. should have been free from the start. This console was touted as the all in one entertainment box...but most of that was behind the XBox Gold Wall.

As for the other parts like Deals with Gold, I feel that the current model is fine with the deals of the week, and other random games hitting 50-70% off, but I don't think they should touch the 2 free games a month. It was nice having these freebies without the strings of having to keep the service like PS+.

So you're saying the WB guy gave you a bunch of info about upcoming projects that you can't discuss but are will to discuss if we ask the right questions like "What did he tell you" Tongue Out

I've never tried the Cheese Fries at Outback. It was always Bloomin' Onion.

Yup The Show is the baseball game I keep playing. Yesterday I only played four games in the Road To The Show Mode (you only play when it's your turn to bat, or you are involved in a defensive play which I think took an hour total)

Hope good things are happening with the Financial Aid! Get that stuff taken care of so it's one less thing on your plate when school starts.

14 Days Of Humble Bundles

This is a really good bundle especially if you're going to pay the $9 for all the games. There better be something good like this for Android games!

Game Log, May 12 – Nuked and Amused

The only Sega compliation that had something similar was the Sonic Collection, where I forgot how it happened but the more you played, more Sonic content was unlocked. This was my first taste of having the Game Gear Sonic games on the big screen.

Microsoft to sell Kinectless Xbone for $399

Posted on 05/14/2014 at 11:33 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I got that email about how the apps and I feel that this feature should have been with the system right out of the box. I mean when Microsoft had their E3 presentation, it was an all in one media center...yet you could only use these big media features if you have gold.

The Kinect isn't my thing. I've played games that use it, and after the excitement for trying something new, I lost interest. This new release has my attention because it's at the PS3 price point, and doesn't have a piece of hardware I would never use.

Intellivision Lives! on DS - B-17 Bomber

I had the standard one, and I think one of my games had a cutout for the telephone pad on the bottom. I don't think I ever used those buttons.

Ben Affleck IS the goddamn Batman!

From the picture that was released it seems that they're going a bit retro with the Batman costume. The small ears, and the big logo on his chest, has the throwback vibe but it also has some modern elements. I'm usually more interested in what they use for the Batmobile, and this one, just like the costume is a bit retro meets modern (cockpit looks like the Burton Batmobile, and the other body pics looks like it borrows from the Tumbler).
