It must have been awe-inspiring to behold, what with those huge boxing characters full of expressions and animations.

Yeah, it's almost impossible to find, so having a way to get a digital copy is great.
Recently got one too. I made the decision to make the Lite my primary Switch since I take it with me to play out and about. My regular Switch is now just for gaming at home on the TV. I think it's stupid that Nintendo has it where you have to have a wifi connection on your secondary Switch to play, but whatever.
I have both of these books, they're both very fascinating. Early game history is just so interesting. Nintendo in the 80s was the underdog, and they totally dominated the market (they actually saved gaming). And then Sega was the underdog in the early 90s who actually beat Nintendo (for a short time). The console wars now are not nearly as exciting as those between Nintendo and Sega in the 90s.
Yeah, Wii PO is really great because it uses the best fighters from both games and gives them even more personality than was in the originals. It's just a shame that SPO often gets overlooked (at least it's available to play in a few different forms)
Love this game! The robot parts are really fun, and it offers quite a bit thanks to the "second quest" with Meta Knight. Also, the music is really good here. I've always loved Kirby music because it's so upbeat and happy, it just puts me in a good moode.
So do I! This is possibly my favorite in the series, although the Wii game is also exceptional.
LOL that can be a real problem!
Yes, so true! I don't mind when games are easy (like Kirby games)
I think you have to go in to Earthbound with the realization that it was trying to be different and weird. It definitely rubbed some people the wrong way. The story and characters are often bizarre, but that's what makes the game so endearing. The battle system actually added some things that were forward-thinking for the time. And yes, the translation is stellar. So I would say give it another chance and try to see it through to the end. Honestly, I used the player's guide a LOT to get through, but it's worth it.
