I figured, with the limited time I've been able to put into handheld games lately, I'd jack it up to hard so the game would end sooner.

That's exactly my feeling too.
I broke the hundred hour mark in the game. I don't do that too often.
Ha ha. Yea, that experience at the end there was very similar to one I had. But I kind of enjoyed it, because it caused me to try new things.
The horse thing gets better. You can build your relationship with the horse and extend the area it'll respond to you.
I think you can hold down the button to sprint too? Or it lets you keep up with someone your following, I think. It didn't bother me too much. I wasn't running all the time anyway.
The game is defintely styled more like a simulation game. You have to learn how to do things and overcome hassles like all your important gear being on your horse. Of course, the lesson is, never leave your horse. What cowboy lets himself get separeated from his beloved horse? Ha ha.
My one issue is that, after the opening segments, I kind of lost track of the story because I couldn't readily see what to do next. And there is so much to explore and try, I basically forgot about the story as soon as they stopped holding my hand.
Them horses are tempermental. Gotta watch it around them. That's definitely funny though. The random things that happen in that game, amazing.
Yea, and just like that old game Two Worlds, they say a lot of goofy things during the game. There's this over-the-top unreliable narrator in VV who makes fun of you the whole time. It reminds me of Sacred 3 in that way - way silly dialog. I still quote from Sacred 3 'cause it made me laugh.
Mark bought the Treasure Map that shows you everything. I'm really tempted to do that, and I cheated by looking at his map a few times and found two more bonus boards, but I don't want to pay to get achievements. I'll pay for new content.
Each week the game changes seasons and there are new races that appear. Which reminds me, Thursday is FH4's change of season. I'll have to jump back in to do them.
I look at the map and filter out everything but the bonus boards. The map is like littered with them. I have so many of them and they cover so much of the map, I can't understand why I haven't revealed all of them by now. What tiny corners are they hidding in?
I keep telling people I know about it. He has a facebook page for it.
Mark and I just watched Sharknado 5. They just get bigger in production values. This one almost broke into normal blockbuster territory. Less laughs and more "cool". It was still pretty rediculous though. I'll get 6, the last one, when it appears in the library. I see they've ordered a copy, but it's not rentable yet.
