Yup! It scored higher than Bioshock Infinite on Metacritic, if that means anything to you. It shouldn't, but I mean I'm just saying.

Good for you! You won't regret it!
Thanks! Same here, been suffering through art school for the last seven years (it's a middle school too) and I'm glad to be rid of it. Here's hoping on that PS3, I'm quite literally dying without Ni No Kuni
Thanks a lot! Getting to the Archlyte Steppe isn't a problem till I get to the Palamecia for some reason. That's when those linear sections really start to DRAG, because they just get longer and longer. The Fifth Ark, and Taejin's Tower are the worst bits in the game for that very reason. The early linear sections like Lake Bresha or Sunleth Waterscape kind of work because they're not really too long, you're just getting into the flow of the game, and there are good changes of scenery throughout even if you're not exploring all of that scenery. The Fifth Ark and Taejin's Tower are just linear, incredibly long areas that just keep going and going. They just turn into monotonous, tooth grinding descents into madness.
Dang. Well, smallest high school in my area anyway. Interesting you bring up how you got into anime. I honestly can't even remember how I did. It just kinda happened. I remember how I got into video games though....strange.
Thank you! I still haven't played the first Valkyrie Profile actually. The idea of a time limit that you can't do anything to change kind of freaks me out a little. That's probably where my dread for Lightning Returns comes in too. I know you can supposedly do things to lengthen the 13 days, but I don't like feeling rushed in my games. I wanna be able to explore every nook and cranny and I just feel like I can't do that with a time limit looming in the foreseeable distance.
Thanks a lot! Yeah, Snow looks like it idiot, but really, what else is new?
Thank you! I think the reason my PS3 lasted for so long was because I didn't become a more than casual gamer until years after I got it. So I wasn't consistently playing it enough for it to crap out early.
Thanks! And aw man I must of missed that one :( but i can definitely tell you to give them a try. Those games aren't really something I can recommend or not recommend, because it really depends on you. Some people love them, some people hate them, and there's very little inbetween. I'd say lean more toward 13-2, but in all honesty you should go for 13 just to get in good with the story in order to have a better connection to 13-2 when you finally get around to it. I know 13-2 has that in-game 13 summary thing, but nothing like playing through the actual game.
