That's a good Youtube channel. His videos on Prince of Persia are terrific as well.

Yikes of both parts of that story.
Thanks. No vehicle did suck, especially when the job is 20 minutes away from home.
I've only beaten NGB once but a multi-part LP that IGN put out earlier this year (in which the hosts beat the game with no deaths) made me want to retry it. It tickles my fancy as well.
Don't sweat it. I haven't posted a blog since early July. Look how I turned out. ;)
Congrats on the engagement and happy belated birthday!
During college, a law student friend of mine was a gamer and was into modding and emulation in his spare time and among other things provided my brother and I with a Dreamcast disc (meaning, it ran on the DC) that has emulations of all NES and Famicom games. I remember seeing a Golgo 13 anime film on really late Friday night Cinemax back in the 90s (back when Cinemax tried airing mature, crazy anime titles past the usual softcore porn fare; examples include Wicked City, Ninja Scroll) so I did try the game on the disc out of curiosity. It's not a good game.
Looking forward to that!
I managed to beat the Black version on Xbox back in the day. It was a grind but pulling it off is one of the very few group of gaming accomplishments I can be proud of. It just isn't messing around.
You brought up the Vita versions. Sigma Plus was pretty decent but Sigma Plus 2 was a nightmare for me, full of slowdown at the worst times.
I haven't finished Phantasy Star 2 no matter how many times I played it in the past for all of the obvious reasons. Yet I credit this game for kick-starting a love for RPGs. I got into the genre a little too late (26-27?) and while there's a lot of infuriating things about the game (the grindiest; no way to know what gear/weapons work with which player without a guide), its presentation and easy-to-learn battle system was my gateway. This and World of Warcraft, of course.
I hope you get a job soon. Good luck and keep trying.
You'll check out the podcast? You were my first guest! You don't remember? Or are you referring to the episode I blogged about? Anyway, back when the podcast was more, ah, frequent, I usually provided a pinned tweet about it. I'll be sure to do the same in the future.
Thanks. I've added you as a friend on Xbox.
