Yeah, I kinda figured that out. Still having fun, though.

They were pretty insistent. It was an old, expired card, so I just deleted the card info all together and that fixed it.

What gaming looks like at my house. Part 1

Wow. Very tidy. But then again, my whole house is smaller than some peoples' living rooms. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to add the new precious, er, PS4 to my setup. I disconnected my 360 in order to set up the PS4, but I don't want to leave it disconnected, and I still have a ton of games for my PS3 that still need to be played. Ah, first world problems, lol.

Yeah, I have a lot of gaps in my "I really ought to watch this movie" movie list. Especially the last ten years or so. Jason and I used to go to the movies once a week back when there was a second run theater in Portland. We could both go, get a popcorn to share and a beverage apiece for less than $15. Then the theater got greedy and switched over to first run movies and what we used to pay for tickets and concessions became just what we paid for tickets and we stopped going unless it was something we really wanted to see, and didn't buy any concessions, just the tickets. Now it's rare for us to go more than once or twice a year.

Oh, Kaylee was so annoyed with me when I put that hat on her head! If looks could kill...

I didn't play much, either. I did finish off a few, but it will take me a while to dredge upp what I did play.

I still have a PS1 copy of VR Missions for you, I'm just terrible at mailing things. Just ask Regina.

I only trail run. Asphalt does horrible things to my knees. Yes, trail running is slower, you have to be much more aware of what's under your feet, and what's at eye level. Think of it as an obstacle course. One part of the trail system behind my house is all above-ground roots, foot placement is very important there. I invested in top-of-the-line trail running shoes because they're better at gripping roots and rocks and slippery surfaces. But I also invested in a cheaper pair to test out my IceSpikes (think really short drywall screws for the bottoms of your shoes) with. The IceSpikes are amazing, they grip glare ice! The other reason for a second pair of shoes was so that I wouldn't have to remove the screws to use my running snowshoes.

The trail running club that puts on the races that I'm registered for has a motto: "The road to hell is paved. Run trails."

Check out something in running called "fartlek" (Swedish for "speed play"). I'm still trying to finish my Couch to 5K program, so really not a whole lot of help otherwise. I am running some of my training on snowshoes, now that's a workout!

I've played FF Origins, both I and II (PS1 and GBA), made it almost all the way through III on the DS, and got to the final boss in IV (PS1) and kept getting my ass kicked and rage quit. I actually have all of them through XII with the exception of XI, I just haven't gotten around to playing them. But to answer your question: it was on the top of the pile and I was jonesing for a long-ass jrpg.
