Killing Joke - Pylon. Out Today

Jaz being the lead singer I take it? I love punk and don't mind political at all, but some songs just come across as the singer using political buzzwords to sound "informed." I prefer political stuff that calls out specific people/policies or uses at least a couple verses to establish its concepts rather than sounding like a list of answers to a polisci vocab quiz.

I actually really liked Amazing SM 2 BECAUSE it was so chock full of villains and was so over-the-top. First Amazing is honestly my least favorite. Raimi's 3rd has its charms.

Aw, I thought they released the movie adaptation of the Moore comic super early.

Good band though. Lyrics a bit on the too-vague political side in the first song, but good music.

Second song goes really well with the rainy day I'm having. Love it. Rain really is euphoric for me (minus driving in Dallas traffic during it).

If that's true, I think I'll hold out on buying Need For Speed. I love the standard NFS games that focused on speed and cops/robbers, but Burnout is right there with it as one of my favorite racers and I don't feel like putting up with EA's shit if I can help it. Hopefully, this Burnout-type game isn't published by EA.

I want to read the books, but I see the movies as sexy, violent camp since I grew up with Brosnan. Skyfall was a great dark bond though. And yeah, I get sick of the "Batmanning" of movies past last decade as well. I think that's partly why Marvel does so well with their flicks; they're colorful and fun and unfortunately that has become rare. But then, I love a lot of the darker stuff so I'm kind of a hypocrite. I just wish it was more balanced. Seems like everything is "gritty" these days. Gets oppressive.

I guess Talladega Nights is my Nacho Libre in a sense. Stupid comedy I view as a classic and can watch over and over. Hard to make comedy objective, which is why I think unless it makes some kind of sociopolitical point, comedy is underrepresented at awards shows.

I want to only buy games I'll touch immediately from now on if I can help it. I splurged on PSN, luckily with graduation money rather than income, but I don't want to start another Steam trend of jumping on sales. I think it might legitimately be an addiction for me. Gotta cut that shit cold turkey.

Obviously I'm not a ToZ kinda guy, but yeah, 3DS XL is definitely in my future. I may have Benedict Arnolded Nintendo this console cycle, but they're still the undisputed handheld king in my boook.

Sale of the Dead on PSN

Honestly, had I seen that or cared to get on PSN today I probably would have jumped on that, since those games interest me and anything intersting below $10 sets of whatever part of my brain is responsible for crack addiction in other people.

I've never had an issue with my PS4. Must have fixed whatever ailed the PS3 in that regard I guess.

I've only really seen Craig and Brosnan. I did really like Skyfall, probably my favorite. Otherwise, I've only seen bits and pieces on cable.
