Steel Diver Preview

Posted on 03/26/2011 at 12:24 PM | Filed Under Preview

I still am not sure which games I plan to buy. I've decided on at least PilotWings and Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, but Steel Diver is going to wait for your review, Nick.

After seeing that preview from the other day, I'm considering the Tom Clancy Ghost Recon game, too, but I'm unsure.

Worth noting, there's a chance for DLC in the future, depending on fan demand. What measures fans should take to demand the DLC, I've no idea.

Issue 33: It's Barely About the 3DS!

Some Wal*Marts in the states are doing the same trade-in promotion GameStop is doing. Joystiq pointed this out, but had the pricing wrong. $50 for a DS, $75 for DSi, and $100 for DSi XL.

I mentioned a few places that are offering good deals with the 3DS, so I figure I should add this: Toys R Us is doing a promotion where 3DS games will be buy 1 for 39.99, get one half off, I believe. I haven't located the flyer online yet, but notably, Wal-Mart might be willing to price match the deal, as it lists the price, "39.99," rather than just buy one, get one half off.

Duke Nukem Forever Delayed... Again

Oh, it's been delayed a month? I was interested from the start of the project up until this very moment. Now I'll just have to pass on it. I've just waited too long. Delay it two more months for all I care!

Super Monkey Ball 3D Preview

From what I gathered, the challenge is in the medals on stages, rather than the stages themselves, which is certainly a contrast from early Super Monkey Ball games. Honestly, without having played it, my recommendation would hinge on how well Monkey Kart plays. It could make a decent 3DS substitute for Mario Kart if you have interested friends, though it does lack online and the variety in Mario Kart DS.

I'm still waiting for my MOK: Massive Online Katamari. It's going to happen some day.

Bust-A-Move Universe - Trailer

Actually, 3D Bust-A-Move would be pretty interesting. Imagine being able to rotate a three-dimensional field of bubbles, seeing only the outer layer. It could be interesting. Too bad they didn't branch out a little bit for this entry.

Super Monkey Ball 3D Preview

I was disappointed to see Monkey Target won't be making a return. I spent almost as much time playing that on two GameCube games as I did actually playing the stages. Judging from my research, I'd say consider this if you're looking for some Monkey Ball stages on the go or a kart racer to tide you over until Mario Kart 3DS is released.

Killzone 3 Review

Sadly, Microsoft refused to even give us free Xbox 360s at E3, despite handing them out like candy to a lot of members of the press.

I still say they owe PixlBit at least one. Microsoft refuses to answer our demands.
