I especially hate long boss battles when you can't tell how close you are to beating the boss. Some of the battles at the end of Nocturne seemed to last for hours.

I always wanted to find the GC version of Skies of Arcadia. I have the Dreamcast version but I understand that they made a couple of changes for the GC including toning down the ridiculously frequent random battles.

It can be had for 15 to 20 bucks these days. I paid 30 for it and have no regrets.
