Anyway, with the Bat-Mite thing I'm less asking about Bat-Mite specifically and more wondering why comic book fans get so rattled by other media interpretations when so many comic book interpretations themselves seem to fuck with the characters and universes so much anyway. If they can pretend something does or doesn't exist in prestige one-shots etc., I don't see why just saying movies and cartoons have their own universes related to the character would be such a huge deal. 

I guess because they want THEIR version of the characters/universes to be the ones seen by mainstream audiences, but I've always found it a bit petty how comic books are taken SO seriously when we don't expect more than 10% of "based on true events" works to actually be true.

She's better than Trump but despite his numbers now, I don't think he's a serious candidate. If anything, he'll be third party and there are reasons I'm ok with that.

If he does become president it'll be like having the anti-Batman in office.

I actually saw Apocalyptica live at Ozzfest 2008. Some of the guitar solos in their Metallica covers they translated to cello were mind-blowing.

I like the Cranberries and I can see why you like that song, especially the bass. But sometimes the singer grates on me.

I actually first heard Jamiroquai waaaaay later when I played the "Canned Heat" stage on Elite Beat Agents. I hadn't heard those songs you posted until today, but I need to check out more Jamiroquai. And Stevie Wonder for that matter.

I have always thought "Love Rollercoaster" was a Stevie Wonder cover actually. Well damn. My bad. I remember the Beavis n' Butthead music video cartoon.

Nothing's wrong with you, Lump is just catchy. Coolio was pissed about "Amish Paradise" because it wasn't taking the subject material seriously. Oh well. I love both songs and I loved "Gangster's Paradise" as a kid, though I had no idea what it was about or that it was called that.

Barenaked Ladies had some of my favorites on the radio as a kid, like "One Week" and "Pinch Me." Never heard the song you linked before, but I'm a fan. I played their newest single when I worked at the station.

Dude, you should check out the whole Aenima album if you haven't already. Great one, lots of radio play of singles from it. Never knew Sepultura had a claymation video.

Those were the earlier seasons. I think I'm feeling the overratedness because I'm on S9E9.
