Whatever. Bloodborne. It's over afaic.
Not really, I would prefer to own both, but I dont' feel like shelling out that kind of money right now. So...Bloodborne.

Gameplay looks like it trumps the others. Read a wiki on the rest. 4 is a mixed bag: it has some standout parts, and some very weak ones.
"I'll still be talking about it over a decade later, something I can't say for anything that came out last year."
There's reasons a new Metal Gear game is an event. Kojima is a video game auteur, and most games aren't driven by people with a singular vision. And you mix that with highest of production values, marketing, and Hollywood trappings, you have an event , the Avengers of video games.
I'm going to get around to Ys Seven and Memories of Celceta soon. Still haven't beaten Ys Origin. Due to Ys Seven and rhe numerous ports of Oath in Felghana and Ark of Naphistim, the series is getting more recognition in the west. It's been a long time coming.
I was intersted in your thoughts on this game. I'm looking at this more as an action-RPG first, MMO second. If it turns out to be a "theme park" MMO like WoW and FFXIV, I'll pass.
And I'm kind of getting close to working out a theory on what is different about eastern takes on what are European flavored fantasy environments( Ys, Mana series, Alundra). I think it has something to do with the melding of European and early American storybook illustration seen through an eastern (namely Japanese) lens, which makes it familar but dreamlike and alien at the same time. In modern America we heavily favor either realism, Image comics, or Pixar/Dreamworks. Our legacy of storybook and children's book illustration rarely influences our games.
Lel. How can a developer fuck up character creation interace after all this time? We figured this shit out in the 90s. It's like all these PC developers lost their damn minds when the Xbox came out.
Eeew, lap top gaming. Actually, I'd prefer the more compact arrangement with a laptop, but I've heard nothing but bad things about gaming on laptops, even gaming laptops.
Well, I figure if I don't play an of these Diablo 2-likes for a while, I'll be fresh for a new one that looks more interesting than the rest. The problem is that mouse clicking for every action (movement and attack) is just not a satisfying input method for an action game, let alone an action game where you fight countless mobs to get to the next break point.
HM isn't a long game at all. Each mission only takes a few minutes of normal play, or you can spend 3 times that trying to get the highest rank on each stage.
1.Hotline Miami. You don't have to spend a lot of hours on it to get satisfaction, it's unique, the developers have a style all their own, and the music is awesome.
2, Bully. Also a unique game. I don't understand why it didn't achieve the commercial success of Rockstar's other games. They are in rare form with this game. How many other games have taken the high-school setting and and really run with it, like this game does? Music is also superb
