I thought about getting one of these things. There are several brands around and the reviews on each vary. Let me know how it goes after some regular use. My SNES and nes take a lot of work to get a game going.

I am glad that consumers won. I am surprised to see a large company admit they make a mistake. They generally don't do that until it is way too late to fix it. I will probably buy one eventually, after they have I library of games I want.
I hear ya brother. I find eBay and Amazon to be particularly dangerous after a few tasty adult beverages. Man, I should make a list of all the shit I purchased under the influence.
Writing blogs and comments against the Xbone policies is likely what caused this about face in the first place. Be proud for standing up for your rights as a consumer.
This is a win for consumers. This fixes the vast majority of the issues people had with the Xbone. I will no longer boycott it. Too bad I already sold my MS stock. When it has enough games I want to warrant a purchase, I will get one. Though I still worry abit about this changing again.
I have played half of these and agree with your assessment. The only thing I can remember about Silver was David Bowie did some voice acting (I think). Infinite Undiscovery was a turd. I couldn't make it past the ten hour mark. I liked Image, but it is not a great game. Same for Legaia 2, I finished it, but wasn't anything special (though it did have a bit of a unique battle system). I liked Grandia 3 a bit more. But I admit, only after it grew on me. I quit playing it twice at about the 10 hour mark cause I couldn't get into it. I finally did on my third try, but I probably wouldn't have given it a third try if I wasn't snowed in my house for a week (in Atlanta) with nothing to do.
I signed up for beta, but I only did it yesterday. If I get an invite, I will join ya on Malboro. I never played FFXIV before as friends that did said it was pretty bad. I did play FFXI for years. I really enjoyed it and I still talk to friends I met in game that live all over the world. Hopefully I get an invite, but I am pretty sure I waited too long.
I applied. If I get in, I will choose the same server as you guys.
I am completely with you. I am not a fanboy of any console. I have a ps3, 360, & a Wii. I bought them all because they had games I like. I am a fanboy of my rights as a consumer. I don't want a paper weight in 10 years. I still play games on old consoles. This gen, I played more ps2 games than current gen. I had a huge catalog of games I missed while in college (I was really busy killing brain cells). I prefer to buy new games, but I do buy used games when they are the only ones available at a reasonable price. I cannot support the XBone. I even sold my MS stock.
Hmmm. Maybe I will see if I can get in the beta. I played FFXI for a long time and really liked it. FFXIV as it was released was a terd.
