Same here. It's pretty much the only Final Fantasy game I've ever really enjoyed.

Persona 3/4 all day for me. Wish I had time to write something up for this, but man, those games had a fantastic battle system that had so many unique threads running through it, I don't think anything could ever match up to it.

I'm definitely more of a mechanics guy. I don't think Angelo was exactly spot on when he said that I don't appreciate immersion - I just don't associate immersion necessarily around the narrative. A game can be immersive for many reasons - the world construction, the characters, the story, and the gameplay can all create immersion.

In my case, the narrative isn't a hugely compelling part of the experience and I tend to shy away from games with too much exposition. I find most game stories to be pretty poorly realized and they don't tend to hold my attention. I'm more about solid gameplay and innovation. Games that excel there tend to be my favorites.

If you're interested in some of the reviews I've done - see here.

So... This is how I've been feeling lately...

WCW vs. NWO Revenge easily wins on this one. In that game, using the GameShark, you could bring the half-finished version of Wrath into the game as a permanent addition to the roster. In large part, he works flawlessly - his model is accurate and I'm assuming his movesets were accurate too... except for the one that glitches.

If you get a guy on the floor nd perform the lion tamer, well, let's just say that it glitches and suddenly Wrath is using the ring as his personal bedroom. See the following video at 1:50.

Love the stencil on that GamePad. Wish my launch version had that!

Yes! Rayman Legends totally should be on your must-buy list. Seriously, it's sitting pretty as my personal GOTY right now. If you've got a Wii U and a friend/family member to play it with, you're in for one of the best co-op experiences ever. Gushing review, if you're interested Smile.

I don't want to discourage you too much, but Sumioni wasn't too great. If you're at all interested, check out my review here. New Little King's Story on the other hand, is fantastic despite being flawed.

Vita TV: A Question, A Problem, and A Lot of Potential

This is an attractive device for me, though I think I'd be happier if I could do all of this with my current Vita without having to buy another system. I want to connect my Vita to a TV and I want to use a Dual Shock 3 to play the games. Having that dual functionality would be fantastic.

If this thing had a PSP UMD drive, or peripheral that could read those games, I'd be instantly sold. I detest using that nub on the PSP, so anything to avoid it would be a win for me.
