You forgot to mention the BEST 3DS game--Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Not only was it an homage to ALTTP, but it was an excellent Zelda game in its own right. 3DS games that I really enjoyed include Mario 3D Land, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Smash, Kirby Planet Robobot, FF Theatrhythm, Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, and Metroid Samus Returns. I also downloaded a bunch of classic GB games, which was a great feature for the system. 

The DS is truly incredible, and the library is astounding. For me, I fell in love with the Ace Attorney games, so good! Also, loved NSMB, Kirby Mass Attack, Mario Kart DS, Rhythm Heaven, and you failed to mention the big one--Elite Beat Agents! 

My brother (daftman) actually got a GBA on launch day. I'll never forget it, we were on vacation, and we went to ToysR'Us to buy one the moment they opened. He got Mario Advance and Castlevania Circle of the Moon. So many great games! The games I loved the most were Metroid Zero Mission, Mario & Luigi, Mega Man Battle Network 3, and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Truly, this handheld's life span was too short. 

Lots of nostalgia for the OG Game Boy. Perhaps my favorite game was TMNT II: Back from the Sewers (although it's a pretty slow game, they managed to cram a lot of cool things into it). But man, I loved the Mega Man games, Kirby's Dream Land 2, and Balloon Kid (like Balloon Fight except a side-scrolling adventure).
