Fun Nintendo Related DLC and Bonuses

I wonder how Retro would do with a racer?  Sega's team did a good job with F-Zero GX, but boy was that game hard.  I'd like a Wii U F-Zero to be a little easier. :)

My favorite F-Zero racers were the fat samurai guy in the pink car, and Mrs. Arrow.

Retro Game of the Week: Rocket: Robot on Wheels

I never played this one.  I was a poor college student at the time, so if I wasn't able to review it for the newspaper, I'd have to buy it myself and that rarely happened then.  However, this was on the cusp of when I started being on good standing with UbiSoft's PR, and I've been in contact with them ever since, so I've been able to review a lot of their products since then (even recently).  If only it happened a few months earlier, I'd be able to review this one, too!

Nintendo NX Revealed in Patent

Hope that doesn't happen. I might have to stop playing video games altogether if everyone goes 3D like that.  Can't see it since I've been blind in my left eye since birth.

It has begun!

Never been a big fan of any MK game, but I like Jade, Sonya, and Reptile because they wear green and I like green.

I thought about submitting a vote for Captain Syrup for that Smash ballot thing, but Shantae sounds cool, too.

It's been a while Pixlbit but I'm back!

I agree.  Skylanders is better than Disney Infinity.

My brother Jeff loves the Spy Hunter games.  Even the old one from the 80's that I played in arcades when i was a kid.  He used to play it for hours when he was little.

I never liked Fruit Roll-Ups because it reminded me of eating skin.  But after that, the same company made little fruit bits called "Fruit Wrinkles" and that's what I liked.  After that, a competitor made fruit snacks shaped like letters, numbers, and animals, and it took off from there.  My favorite were the Garfield fruit snacks.  Did you ever try those?

Is this the game you're trying to get on Wii U?  When it gets up there, I'd love to review it at GamerDad if you get any review codes.

One Off Mount Backlog, And Other Fun Games I Played

I'll probably never play a new Mortal Kombat game.  Just not my cup of tea.  I do like Jade, Sonya, and Reptile because they wear green and I like green.

I had an opportunity to review that Driver Speedboat game but passed on it because I had so much other stuff on my plate.  But if you think it's worth reviewing I could ask Ubisoft again.  I've been on pretty good terms with them since my newspaper days.

New Mii Plaza Games and Street Pass Week

Posted on 04/20/2015 at 07:44 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I like going to Home Depot to get StreetPass tags, as they have a bunch of computers around the store connected to WiFi, so you can get a ton of saved StreetPass tags.  I don't know why it works at Home Depot, but ti does!  So I've been getting bunches during International StreetPass Week.  Mostly from the US, but I've gotten some from Russia, Canada, Germany, and Austria.

I got the new games, too.  The fishing game is all right, but i hate that you're dependent on what bait you get by what color shirt the other Miis are wearing.  Expect to get lots of red and blue bait!  The zombie game is just a generic beat 'em up, and is near impossible if you don't have a bunch of tags at once.  You can tell it was made by the same folks who did Mii Force.
