Sounds like something that would happen to me. I finally killed the Golden Dragon in the Ancient Ruins in Fantsy Life and was hauling the bounty chest out with me to cash in and I got attacked by something minor, but when you take out your weapons to fight, you drop any chests you're dragging, and one of my allies pulled off a big magic attack that killed the enemies, but it also disintegrated the chest, which probably contained either dragon meat or dragon scales, both of which I need to finish up a couple of crafting challenges.

I've managed to get several of my lives up to Legend status. It's one of those games that I got so caught up in all the side quests, I forgot that there was a main story!

I usually love my job. There are some days that are full of face-palming stupid, though.

You'd really like Fantasy Life, Cary. I can't believe you haven't played it yet.

I discovered that you can't shuffle all six discs, just one at a time. Boo. Color me disappointed.

Yeah, I'm sorry to have missed the installation. They had to rewire the whole thing as well as replace the pump.

The road trip was fun. Picnic at the shore, dramatic waves and nothing on the horizon. Then we went to GameStop and I spent the gift card I got for Christmas. More on that in mynext blog post. Quick trip to Target to get the cat a new scratching post, and then we stopped in and visited some friends so Kendall could come out and kick my tires, and then back to Jason's place and then home.

We didn't go too far, two towns over from Portland, and had a picnic lunch by the ocean at Two Lights State Park. I took SanAndreas there when he visited two summers ago. It was beautiful, the tide was coming in and the waves were all blue and sea green and white and breaking against the rocks, and the sky was brilliant blue and the rugosa roses were in bloom.

And yes, yay! to no more caterpillar hairs!

I will miss my Outback, but I'm looking forward to many happy years with the Forester.

This is going on the list of "I want this game when I get a Wii" titles. I have the first game and really enjoyed it.
