I really want this game on SNES! Love the goofy character designs.

I don't think the overhead view works well for beat em ups. What were they thinking???
"And really, this wasn't even a Zelda game at all." Not true. BotW was built as a Zelda game from the ground up. It simply uses many elements from modern open world games, which is great. You still have Zelda characters, Zelda lore, weapons, music, and a great Zelda world to explore. It's all there. Honestly, the Zelda series was in a desperate need to change, as the last several years were giving us the same old formula which LtoP had started. BotW IS different, but it's a good different, and that's probably why it's GOTY for so many people.
Holy cow, I had no idea someone was remaking Penguin Wars for Switch! I loved that game! Looking forward to this new one.
I grew up with FF II and III (IV and VI). I have tons of nostalgia for those games, especially VI. I've beaten FF III, VI, and IX. FFVI is my favorite RPG, the story, characters, and music are all incredible. I've gotten very close to beating FFI and IV, but they get quite brutal at the end!
It's ironic that some gamers thought FFIX wasn't "a true Final Fantasy game" when in reality, FFVII and VIII were far removed from what a FF game was. Love the series on a whole!
Yeah, Specter is really great!
This is true. I was really impressed at how good BotW and Mario Odyssey looked. Nintendo is making gorgeous games just like the competitors.
True, spritework is often gorgeous, and 3D models can look dull, but I think Samus Returns pulled it off better than most, and the 3D looks amazing on the system. At least we live in a time when we can have both.
Oh my my my! You will love Breath of the Wild and Specter of Torment. And there's a lot to look forward to with the Switch!
I guess that's true, although you can take full advantage of him in 4.
Looking forward to your post!
