Funny thing about the Gamestop tangent:

I went to Gamestop yesterday to spend down some store credit I still have. I plan on ditching them in a few days when my rewards card expires. Got myself a copy of "The World Ends with You."

Dude, these people were ignorant. Seriously.

They had no clue about Xenoblade at all. There's no in store advertising either. Don't you think if Gamestop is invested in this they'd be shouting it from the rooftops?

They watched the VGA's as well, but had NO CLUE who Miyamoto was. None. I was like... Mario? Zelda? any of that ring a bell?

They did put Mega Man Zero in the new MvC didn't they?

And yes, I've heard, but they've stated that they still value the franchise.

This game is in my backlog, but I have to say, this is the highest score I think I've seen given to this game. It always sounded like something I'd be interested in playing, so i'll get to it eventually.

I have a PSone with the attached LCD screen. It's actually the perfect way to play these old games. Putting them on a modern big screen flat panel sure does make them look ugly, but shrunk down, they actually don't look too bad. Most of my favorite game soundtracks are from this generation as well: Castlevania SotN, Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana.

But I agree these were those odd 'transitional' years. There's value there though.

Ah. Well hopefully hiring new staff should sort that out in time for next year. It's a niche game, so I can understand why not everybody played it.

Were it up to me, I would only swap a couple runners up with their 1st place winners. I'd put Gears 3 over MW3 easy.

Also, while I appreciate Radiant Historia getting some love, where the hell is Dark Souls?
