The original three Ratchet & Clank games always put me in a good mood. Yonder is another good one, and Flower mellows out my anxiety.

It wasn't a bad game. I just expected better than I got, which was a dumbed down version of the first that tried to cram too many things from all of the games in.
Tempest in a teacup, I promise.
Could be a while. I've been looking without success for two months now.
Oh, good grief. My criteria for entertainment is: Did it entertain me?, Was it fun? and Did I enjoy it?. I've learned to ignore the bullshit online. Kind of like the Black Widow controversy in whatever MCU movie people flipped out about. Like you, I don't mind when people have legitimate complaints, but most of what most people get up in arms about is ridiculous.
If I can ever find a Switch, you will be one of the first people I add.
My step-dad built our first PC from a Heathkit. And my uncle and aunt got Pong as a gift from someone that really didn't understand that it was something they really weren't interested in. When we'd go visit as kids, they'd hook it up for us in the upstairs bedroom, where we'd spend maybe ten minutes on it, get bored, and go back outside to play.
Going Commando is and will probably remain my favorite R&C title. Other than the crap sixaxis controls, it was a fun game, though. I just finished A Crack In Time, will blog about that sometime in the next couple of days.
And yes, the PS4 remake is not so good. I wrote a bog entry about it a while back.
It's a gadget that is essential one of those rolling marble puzzles, but you have to use it to connect circuits to get a spark to the correct point. That sunds easy, right? But the six axis controls are terrible and frustrating.
You know that my tastes mostly run to RPGs as well, but if I could only ever play one game/franchise again in my life, I could replay R&C over and over again and not get bored. In terms of my favorite ever franchise, it is a tie with the DQ franchise. Come to the dark side, we have cookies, lol.
Yes, much Ratchet & Clank! It makes me happy and helps me de-stress. Cheaper than therapy.
Yes, my job is cool most of the time. Ask Snee sometime about the urinal episode, though. I think I scarred him for life with that blog.
