I fully agree with this review 100%, but like all Wayforward titles they have fantastic replay value due to their great game design. This is what should make a game great, and many SNES games in my library are like this.

I don't think the price will be a problem, since its priced mostly the same as SNES games on the Wii Virtual Console.

Haha, I guess Konami realized how stupid it would be to put this game against Kid Icarus: Uprising. Considering the MGS HD Collection has been our for nearly two months, I don't think any self-respecting 3DS owner with access to either a 360 or PS3 would buy that game. E3 2010 visuals or gtfo Konami.

Seriously, 3DS games can look better then that (Mario 3D Land).

This is a very fun game, but I do agree with Jesse's score; the game is hard and the 3D effect doesn't really do much. But for anyone who enjoyed Super Meat Boy, VVVVVV will be right up their alley.

I think I died about 70 times where I last left off in the game.

Honestly, my favorite part of the game were the Golden Theater chick. It had a real 70s vibe to it, introducing the game like a movie.

There never was a sequal to Musashi.

Disappointed there is no Drill Dozer. But this is a stellar list and these are the best games on the GBA.

While I agree with this, the releases are so few and far between. However, this was how it was with the N64 and Gamecube. And now, the 3DS. Most of this is the fault of third parties though and their lack of support.

They better as hell deliver after Nintendo unleashes their glut of games this holiday season. Because if they don't, they just missed the gravy boat and alienated an audience.

Yet even with Platinum Games at the helm (honestly, I trust them more then Kojima Productions), Rising is of little interest with me. The MGS canon is becoming way too bloated for its own damn good; THE SERIES IS OVER KOJIMA WHY ARE YOU MAKING MORE SEQUALS UGH!!

Spin-offs are a-ok (Ac!d 2, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel) and they can make them non-canon. Why this game has this be canon is beyond me. Also Cyborg Raiden is the worst character ever, way to shit on brilliant character development Kojima. >:(
