Good thing these episodes will still be here when you finish!

I would like just about anyone besides the tired Nintendo team to take a crack at Zelda. I love the idea of a Zelda game that quits with the hand holding and makes the combat meaningful and skill-based. A Link Between Worlds was a breath of fresh air, but a Zelda game with the freedom of the original NES title and Souls-inspired combat? Sign me up. And no, it needn't be pitch black, but a slightly more serious tone wouldn't go amiss. Look at how dark the opening of Frozen is, and it resonated with a huge audience both young and old.
I think an anime game show just might be big enough to fill a whoe episode, so I will keep that pinned for later.
As for Sonic...based on your avatar and question you probably don't want me talking about Sonic...
I'm super happy to know that at least one person is jumping on board with us for this! Hopefully more will follow suit, and I know a lot of people around PixlBit have been playing hot and heavy since the HD version came out.
Oh, and to give people an update: I am right at the cusp of where we said we'd play up to, and I've clocked 19 hours in. That's with a handfull of blitzball games and backtracking, so use that as a loose guide for the next episode.
Okay...I'll bite. What about Lightning Returns was cool to you? I'm a HUGE Final Fantasy apologist, but the ten hours I've played of LR so far has been excruciating. I'll freely admit that perhaps I haven't gotten to the good parts yet and I do plan on finishing it (the only FF game I haven't finished is V), but I strongly dislike nearly everything I've seen in that game.
I am BEYOND stoked for Guardians of the Galaxy. I love the lighter tone it seems to have, but knowing that it ties directly into the third Avengers movie gets me even more excited. Also, a big theory is that, if this movie does really well, the sky is the limit on what Marvel will adapt to film. Someone somewhere mentioned a Heroes for Hire movie starring Terry Crews as Luke Cage and Jason Statham as Iron Fist and everytime I imagine that I. Can't. Stop. Grinning.
These are fantastic, guys! Keep em coming! We are going to have enough interesting topics to do a couple of these.
I'm sure Nick could set up something for this. I'd be happy to give editing tips for sure, as my skills have gone beyond the instructions I was given when I was first assigned my silly radio show.
Yeah, the hoops I've had to jump through for the online FF games is kinda insane.
I recommend S.H.I.E.L.D. if you are at all interested in the Marvel cinematic universe as a whole. The show has had a hard time getting its stride, but with Captain America 2 things have really picked up.
Sorry, I just assumed people would know what I was talking about. FTL was an early Kickstarter game that saw huge success. It's basically Star Trek meets Rogue or Oregon Trail. You start from scratch every time, and the encounters are all random. Combat is pseudo-RPG style: you have weapons that charge on different timers, and while dealing with enemy ships you may have to contend with fires on deck or invading away parties or systems getting damaged and needing repair on the fly. It has a fantastic soundtrack and I keep coming back to it, even though I'm not much of a PC gamer.
I can totally do that! I've pondered it here and there, but I consume podcasts start to finish even if they aren't talking about something I'm super invested in, just because I enjoy the hosts or I'm curious about something I don't know much about. But I know other people experience podcasts differently, so I'm happy to make things easier for all!
(Don't forget that you can download the show and take us with you. )
