Mega Man 3 Review

Even though Mega Man 3 is my favorite of the NES titles, I could TOTALLY understand if someone liked MM2 better.

If Capcom made Mega Man Legends 3 for the PS5 or X/S, I would totally buy one of those.

Not only is FF6 my favorite RPG of all time, it's also one of my top five favorite games of all time.  Right alongside Pac-Man, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Kart, and the Namco Museums on PSOne.  That's actually the topic of my first podcast, too, if you want to listen to that.

So naturally, Terra is my favorite FF character.  I consider her to be the main character of FF6, espeicaly since her theme is the overworld theme and everywhere else.  And of course, Kefka is my favorite FF villian (take that Sephiroth!).  He's just so insane and everytime you hear his theme song, you know something bad is going to happen.  He's also one of the few video game villians who actually wins.

I also think FF6 has the perfect soundtrack.  I still have my "Kefka's Domain" CD soundtrack that Square actually released in the US a long time ago.  And like SanAndreas, I got to see the opera scene performed live in concert one time.  That was a dream come true.  Well I could talk about FF6 all day, but I'll end it here.

If you're going to get one, I'd get the 2nd Stadium collection since all those games are on it.

So the next batch of amiibo figures comes out in September.  I've already got them preordered.  They're not as detailed as other amiibo figures, but they are from a game you really, really like!

Yeah I forgot how much I liked the Klonoa games.  They may not be on my top five favorite games of all time list, but they MIGHT be on my top ten.

Well it's still a 2D platformer, so it's not THAT amibitious.  But I never saw it in the arcade back then!

I had an Apple ][+ as a kid.  Well it wasn't mine, but I used it to play games.  Sure they weren't arcade perfect, but they were certainly better than the Atari 2600.  So while people were complaining about that version of Pac-Man, I was playing a much closer rendition with Tax-Man.  Other arcade hits I played on that Apple were Zaxxon, Frogger, and Choplifter.  Well, Choplifter started out as a PC game, but you know what I mean.  Other Apple favorites of mine were Lode Runner, Spare Change, and Aquatron.  A few years later I got an Atari 5200 and then a NES, but playing games in the arcade was still my favorite.

Considering Bases Loaded got bunches of sequels on the NES and SNES, I still say that was Jaleco's most prolific game.  All Clarise from City Connection got was a playable spot in a Parodius-like shooter.  But I do know about the new company being called City Connection.  I get press releases from them.  You ever notice that Clarice and Ordyne's Miyuki-chan look a lot alike?

Stage Select:

OK so Dynasty Warriors games featuring other characters in spinoff games are pretty popular.  You've got two Zelda ones, a Dragon Quest one, and a Fire Emblem one.  And isn't there a Persona one, too?  Well, anyway, with Kirby being more popular than ever now, I think it's time he got one of those.  You could call it Kirby Star Warriors!

The next idea is one that was orignally an idea for a comic book hero that I had.  I've only told this idea to my little brothers, and they all said it was dumb.  But maybe it could translate into a video game.  So here's the deal.   You are a super hero but your only power is that you can touch anything and turn it into a super hero, except yourself.  So if you needed to save a cat stuck in a tree, you'd just touch the tree and turn it into Super Tree and it would save the cat.  But with great power comes great, well, you know.  So you don't want to touch everything so that you don't fill the world with Super Toilets and stuff like that.

Hey now, you do have to steer sometimes and press buttons to use items like red shells!

Actually you could say that about all video games, "I love pressing buttons!"

See I told you in my review that those ring races in Bee Simulator were annoying.

Most of my Marvel knowledge comes from the LEGO games, Marvel vs. Capcom, and the movies I've seen.
