Might just get that Steam version of Shantae after all. I've liked what I played of Smash Bros. and the Shovel Knight soundtrack is indeed awesome.

Come on man, you can get a special edition of Advanced Warfare for only 80 or so!

Shantae's been on sale a while, but isn't it a GBA game? Might want to get it there. I don't own a 3DS or Wii U and I'm trying to cut down on Winter Sale spending. But it's there until Jan. 2, so we'll see. 

It's good, just be ready for some precise timing in the puzzles.

Well hey, you can always go wild on January 1 and 2, when the Winter Sale ends.

Yeah, I was wanting to get Shovel Knight for under $5, but given how long I've wanted to play it and the fact it came out this year, $10.04 seemed fair to me. I'll play it after Korra, or before if Korra decides not to work.

As for the spoilery bits in your comments, I kinda figured it was something like that, but I never read the game info and ... well, if I had known who certain characters were, MAYBE it would have more of an impact on me? But in the end, I love the art style and most of the game, but the story is kinda like "oh, neat." I like making my own interpretations, but here I don't have much to go on to make an interpretation. Oh well.

I really loved the Hunger Games series, but I'm on Ch. 5 of Fault In Our Stars and this fake video game makes it seem like John Green hasn't paid attention to gaming since Duke Nukem became irrelevant. The way people talk in this book also seems off. It's too ... "written." Also, I'm almost a third of the way through and feel like a lot more has happened with the fictional books in this book than the book itself. But like the Augustus character, I'll reserve judgment until I finish. No spoilers, please. 

Honestly, I'm feeling a bit let down by this, since I loved the dark humor of chapter 1, which got me to buy the book. But maybe the fact I found Divergent's first chapter so generic will turn out to mean the rest of that book is great? We'll see, but I think I am done with YA for a while once I finish this one.

Had to skip this one cause spoilers, but I got to see Cookie Monster.
