My Nintendo E3 Wishes and Predictions

Posted on 06/06/2014 at 07:32 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm still bitter that for the second year in a row, I haven't been able to get into E3 even though I've never had any problems getting in since 1997.  But yeah, most of the stuff I'm looking forward to is from Nintendo.  I wish the other console makers would put out games that appeal to me as well, I hate being so one-sided.  But I go where the games I like are.  Maybe after E3 is over with, I'll write a blog about my favorite E3 news stories.  You might be interested in reading the blog I have up right now, though.

I know that I did not see it in theaters, but I did rent it on VHS as a kid and was surprised that I liked it somewhat.

You have a PSP don't you?  If you can, track down the first one on PSP, it's one of my favorite games on that handheld.

I never saw it in theaters, but when I was a kid I rented it on videotape and actually watched it twice, which surprised me even back then.  I don't remember much about it, except Oz seemed more post-apocolyptic, with the Yellow Brick Road destroyed and all.  I also remember it being surprisingly dark.  At the beginning, the family wanted to give Dorothy shock treatment because she was telling all these stories about Oz.  And the evil witch had several heads that she could put on and off, and when she went to bed she took her head off and Dorothy took it and it yelled for her body to come get her!

I don't have time to play RPGs already made, much less make my own.

Of course I do have ideas in my head, but that's probably where they're going to stay.

If people would just play more Kirby games, this world would be a better place. :)

Too bad not everyone is just like we are, perfect in every way.  Ha ha!  Just kidding!

Thanks for reading my blog.

Are you talking about the Disney Return to Oz movie from the 80's?  Yeah I liked that, too.

I did review a Wizard of Oz RPG a long time ago.  Here's that review:

There was an Oz platformer on the SNES, but you really want to stay away from it.

Mario Kart 8 Reinvents Great!

It may not be my favorite Mario Kart, but it does have the best graphics of any Nintendo  game I've seen.  Great music, too.

I like the flat SNES/GBA courses.

I do like most of the remade retro courses.  Except now that N64 Rainbow Road is only one lap, it feels too short.  I know the original was long, but I always considered it a test of endurance.

I did notice that the AI is less rubber bandy, but I hardly ever get the super horn when a blue shell is after me.

Mario Kart 8 may not be my favorite, but I will say this.  It has the best graphics of any Nintendo game I've seen.
