Angelo, just...no.
Angelo, just...no.
That would be awesome. I'm still annoyed that there hasn't been a game to pick up where Metroid Fusion left off.
Batman can totally work in an open world, just not like this. So many places outside of the comic books forget about the whole "world's greatest detective" thing. An open world Batman game should involve Batman piecing together clues in the Batcave, running down leads in the city, and slowly unraveling a mystery while still cracking skulls and putting fear into the hearts of criminals.
And when I say "the city", I mean an actual Gotham with actual people in it. It bothers me to hear that this game looks just like Arkham City, because that doesn't make sense for a multitude of reasons. Glad I decided to skip this one.
Having gone back to play a bit of GTA IV in the past month, I'm of the mindset that GTA 3 and Vice City hold up better than IV does, and possibly V when we look back at it years from now.
It's you and me against the world, transmet!
Legaia 2 was really good, too, and might be cheaper to come by.
Somehow, I was not aware of this feature and didn't get to participate.
I think that Final Fantasy X-2's battle system is the true evolution of FF combat.
It was the ATB system on speed, with the blend of tactics, strategy, and speed that should satisfy people of all types of combat preferences. It was possible to chain attacks together, you could change jobs on the fly, and even though it was fast-paced it wasn't such a crazy speed that you were spending 90% of your time watching meters.
Too bad people hated it because you play as a trio of women and it has something called "Dress Spheres".
I love FPS and RPGs.
I play retro and modern games.
I like artsy games and fun games (unless we're talking GTA V vs Saints Row IV, in which case I'm all about fun).
Does that make me a strange edge case? I never really thought of those things being mutually exclusive until you put it that way.
This. Watching the pilot of the original cartoon is my first memory. Time to bring the knowledge, Gemini!
