Hmmm, and anime episode is a great idea, but that would probably be a better fit for NWP than Backloggers. I like it though!

I love me some R-Type. It was the first time I saw anything like the "force" drone or those biological environments. It completely blue my mind as a kid. I think the SNES ones are my favorites.

What platform did you play this on? I remember someone talking about serious framerate issues, but they never specified which they were using. I'll probably end up getting it for PS3.

I had my share of Tiger or off-brand LCD games too back in the 80s I had a lot of fun with them. I actually have a really sweet pinball one that actually kind of holds up!
