Too scary. Can't bear to watch. . . AH!!! I just scared myself.

The campaign for T2 sounds sooo cool. The best thing about this series is the rock solid design both in environment and controls. Those ex-Infinity Ward guys know a thing or two.
I'm often guessing when leaving a game whether my progress has been saved or not. Usually it is, but they always have to add that screen, "are you sure you want to leave?" and I get nervous. Then I have to really dig to find the manual save in the menus.
Most of the time autosave is working almost invisibily in new games and I forget about it. Then I play an old game and forget to save. THEY'RE JUST MESSING WITH ME NOW!!! ARGHH!!!
Yea, I'm on the look out for sales. Regular price is way too high for me.
Darn those Canadian prices. I paid $60 minus some trade-in money I'd put down on it a month back. My friend Mark is going to play Minecraft while I'm playing DQB so we can make comparisons.
I see lots of interesting things to do with a smart phone. I do want one. I just can't justify the cost to myself yet.
Interesting. Thing is, in XCOM 2, if you don't get a least some promotions, you'll be in trouble in the harder missions. A bunch of squaddies just won't cut it. I've started to try and protect certain characters and use others as fodder. Seems unfair but what's a general to do?
Yea, Doom II is great. So many interesting level designs in there. I forgot how long that game is. Boy does it get you lost sometimes though. Not as bad a Marathon Durandal though. That game had environments that were a little too samey. I got lost in that one almost immediately. SOOO want to play Brutal Doom.
It's called Frontier Defense and I think it was added later. You play 4 players and defend a power core dropped in the middle of the existing maps. You do different amounts of waves for each map. Some have you just swarmed with nuclear Titans. It gets pretty challenging. You get three chances to survive a wave then it's game over. Win or lose, though, you get a bunch of XP, cards, and unlocks. So fun. I want to finish the "campaign" as well.
It's cool when there's new gameplay related to the figures. I love seeing what abilities each Skylander has when I level them up. This guy:
uses his lance as a pogo stick for one move. I watched Mark playing this character and it looks hilarious bouncing around like that.
Weird. I don't remember playing Decay in Half-Life. I should revisit it. There's a game that needs a HD remake for sure.
It does wear on you. I was really depressed all weekend and I thought maybe that was contributing to it.
Ha ha! That's funny because I'm over 17 hours into the game so far. Does that beat some of those Final Fantasy games for long preludes? I think it might.
