They fixed their D-pad in theory, yes. I'd have to try it out first to make up my mind, though.
This could make it more difficult to hop in somewhere and play something like Scene-It or Rock Band. Color-coded buttons definitely helped navigation.

UPDATE: Next issue will definitely be MOVE centric. Call me a sell-out, but around the would, Move NDAs have been lifted, giving me a ton of source material, all at once. I've spent a few hours looking at everything, recalling my hands-on Move time at E3, and compiling notes, so I definitely plan to spend quite a bit of time talking about Sony's Move, how it works, when it works, and all that type of stuff.
Chris was actually there playing StarCraft II in the background the entire time. I only struggled because right now I have a cough that's agitated when I speak.
Sadly, it would've been longer if not for that.
Yesterday evening, Nick pointed out the absurdity that Nintendo would drop their DS prices while Microsoft raised the price for the 360's online all on the same day.
Had I a 360, though, I wouldn't personally be worried about the increase in price, specifically because of ESPN3. For some reason, I can't get enough College Football.
It's a good try. I think, after giving it some thought, it might have more to do with what Luke suggests. Perhaps Nintendo doesn't want this game to be priced in a special deal for Black Friday, but wants it to appear as a premium title?
It looks like November 29th is a Monday. Anyone have a guess at why Nintendo would launch Golden Sun: Dark Dawn on a Monday, and not a Sunday or Tuesday?
It's disappointing to see that the originally DS Lite isn't also getting a price drop. The handheld has been priced at $129.99 for quite some time, now. Maybe even since its launch.
Still, I like the move of a simultaneous price drop with Professor Layton. At E3, Nintendo put an enhanced focus on Professor Layton, having representatives with DSi XLs attached stand in the 3DS line, allowing demos of the software.
I do wonder, though, if Nintendo is clearing out all their big news to prepare for the announcement of the 3DS. It's not that I know anything about that, believe me, I don't, but I'm hoping this is the case.
Nick, I find the key is to be an incredibly dull person. It's working very well for me.
So people know, at the current time, there's a few name options: PixlJalk, PB&Jason, and JasonCast are about it. Zap's suggestion is PB&Jason, and it's in the lead right now. Anyone have any others?
