I'd just like to say that I was able to make it through 2 minutes of that guy's Angry Rant (Part 2). I have no interest in listening to people like him. If you feel the need to get that angry and yell into a camera for 25 minutes it's time to find a new hobby. It's people like him that make this past time seem immature to other people.
I bought a new copy as soon as the court order went down. But you can still find it for cheap, and that won't change anytime soon. There are tons of copies of it out there.
But there are way more copies of Final Fantasy VII for the PSX in the world, and that game became hard to come by, too, so you never know.
I actually wasn't all that pissed at the DRM thing. It just wasn't for me as a collector. But the more I think about it the less it bothers me. With instruction manuals gone bye bye there really isn't anything special about owning the discs anymore, barring collector's editions. I was more concerned about the always on Kinect, to be honest.
There was someone on a podcast I listened to who said things would have been different if the XBO simply didn't have a disc drive, and I have to agree. Don't get me wrong: I'm happy that MS changed the system, but it's only prolonging the inevitable.

If there's one thing I pride myself on, it's my honesty. This is my honest review based on my experience. If I was being dishonest I would have glossed over everything negative about the game and given it a 5, because this game is on track to be my game of the year so far.
I played the game on default settings, as I do with all of my reviews. By the end of the game, I was flush with ammo for most of my weapons, with the exception of nail bombs and molotov cocktails. I'm sure that's a different story on harder difficulties, but I dislike the shooting mechanic enough that I have no desire to play it on hard.
I'll start a new character on Gilgamesh. I'll be playing a Mantrha as my actual character, so I'm taking advantage of the beta to try some fun stuff.
Has this been dropped across the board? Meaning, does this apply to current gen, or is this a new policy moving into the Xbox One?

There are plenty of games that I would put in my top games of this generation that I wouldn't give a 5 star score to. The first Mass Effect is probably my favorite game of the past 8 years, and I gave it a 4.
Games can have flaws and still be important, memorable, and must play experiences.
The game that they had been talking about was one where guns were super rare, and even encountering 3 humans at one would be an "oh crap" moment. If that had been what we got, it could have been transcendent. This ended up being a much more traditional video game, but it does give me hope that someone could come along and make that game that Naughty Dog was talking about.
