Kathrine couldn't explain it any better. I'm seriously bored of the FPS genre due to how saturated the genre has become. I found myself gravitating to more interesting FPS titles like Red Steel 2 and Bioshock due to how different they are and don't involve a historial war, soliders. or bald space marines. I seriously hate how everything is so generic and bland.

Resident Evil Revelations Trailer

I heard that Capcom is using their MT Framework engine for this game. It stuns me that a engine intended for PS3 and 360 games can be used on a portable.

I had the fun task of creating game profiles for these. I'm surprised that there are about 71 games on the list.

If DSi games can access the camera then I am sure that games can access the 3 3DS cameras. It's interesting how many control choices developers will have with the 3DS. Slide Pad, dpad, buttons, cameras, accelerometer, and gyroscope.

3DS to Feature Game Installations?

Posted on 06/18/2010 at 06:30 AM | Filed Under News

I know it doesn't sound like something that Nintendo would do, and recently Nintendo has been doing things that didn't seem like Nintendo would do.

However, the Nikkei has been actually spot on a couple of times before regarding the 3DS. In March, Nikkei revealed that the 3DS will have a analog stick (which is true), includes a motion sensor (true), screen to be less than 4 inches (true 2x), improved wireless and battery (battery improvement is unknown, but wireless improvement looks like its true). So while Nikkei isn't a videogame source in Japan, they did reveal a lot regarding the 3DS and a majority of them are true.

Anyways, since Nintendo has been burned badly by piracy I have a feeling this feature while being convenient, it will have a big caveat. Like requiring some kind of online activation for games being stored on the system's internal memory or having an expiration date.

3DS to Feature Game Installations?

Oh wow, the 3DS just gets even more amazing every day. This is a very nice feature however, since Nintendo has been fighting piracy I have a feeling that there will be some kind of small caveat to curb piracy or exploitation of this feature.
