October works better for a horror game release anyway.

I never really watched it on TV. Honestly, I usually read about it in EGM after the fact. Was it just on G4?
I agree it works in Crazy Taxi, but that's a silly arcade game; which I'm a fan of, don't get me wrong; but Mario Kart to me is different. I'm not even the biggest Mario Kart fan, but I use the Disney/Pixar comparison because I believe these are companies that make their name on timelessness and modern branding techniques feel a bit off when done in their efforts in particular.
Having said that, if all they want to do is have some DLC of a small car to get some extra money or add a billboard here and there to one or two tracks where it fits (NOT Rainbow Road or Bowser's Castle, etc., but maybe like a throwback to that city area in 64 would be fine), that's fairly harmless.
It's just, I dunno, for me it's like "what are these advertisements doing in my childhood?" but then again, I'm 24 and don't own or plan to own a Wii U, so it's not my childhood anymore anyway. It just feels off is all.
It's kind of weird seeing product placement in a Mario Kart, but I guess they have to do what they have to do. Still, it's like if the main character in Pixar's Cars was specifically a whatever-year Chevy Corvette. It just feels kinda wrong. Granted, Cars isn't as beloved as Mario Kart, but it was the only Disney or Pixar example involving cars I could think of off the top of my head.
I don't want Bowser's hideout to be renamed Coca-Cola Castle.
Yeeeeuuuup. Someone even convinced me I was Jasmine after believing I was Aladdin for most of it.
... I totally was Aladdin. His moves weren't near as bad ...
Fun fact: I saw all 5 batmobiles and more Batman movie stuff in person at Warner Bros. last week.
This game really does look awesome.
Yeeeeaaahhh ... I'm not a mark for CoD games. At all. lol
This reminds me of last night when some friends and I played "Prince Ali" from Aladdin on Just Dance. I've never felt more effeminate in my life.
I think it might just be more stuff about SO honestly, but they were locking down parts of the offices we couldn't visit for SOMETHING and they mentioned it was due to E3 plans they couldn't reveal.
Maybe it'll be big, maybe it won't, I just really wanna know what's behind the curtain.
When we got to santa Monica, the sun was out, but Venice Beach was cloudy and cold while we were there and just ... eff all those people who want to force a pair of headphones on me and then ask for donations. I made the mistake of giving some change to a homeless cause and I felt like a reggae artist basically robbed me. "One love" my ass. I wasn't gonna fight him, cause he seemed like he might have a knife on him, but I threw that CD he got my dollar for in the trash. Venice Beach is no place to wander around on your own looking for the rest of the group. I should have kicked that guy's ass in retrospect, but I was in no damn mood to make things even worse. Same with all the people saying I must like hip-hop cause I had a Red Sox tee on. I climbed a rope near Santa Monica for therapy. lol
