I think they did that door animation thing on purpose. Kind of like a joke to poke fun at door animations in other surivial horror games.
Yeah your wife has my pick for Game of the Year SO FAR, so go and play that already!
If only Tomb Raider were more silly and colorful and happy, then I would play it.

I'm pretty happy with my Wii version of Muramasa, so I'll skip out on this one. No Vita either.
Fez was fun until you got to a part in the game where the only way to progress was to decipher weird codes. That's when I stopped playing and deleted the game from my HD.
I haven't played any of those! Bioshock Infinite's gameplay isn't my cup of tea, but it looks like an interesting game anyway!
There's a lot of RPGs I haven't finished. Many, including Ni no Kuni, are too long and meandering.
