I can't wait to try one.
I can't wait to try one.
R&C is pretty short. It'll be $20 in no time. Better to wait for that. Darn does it look super though. A big battle is just a festival of action with not a note of slow-down. It still amazes me.
Yea, it's horrible. Need a good analog stick at least.
Beats of Rage looks cool! When I get back to my Dreamcast, I may have to look into it for download.
At one point, my friend Mark and I got all the add-ons to the original Genesis deck: 32X and CD drive, and put them all together. What a hideous monstrosity that is. The Genesis 3 is tiny, like the top loading NES I have. The Genesis 2 uses the same AV plug as the Gen 3. Just the first one is different.
I made so many models. Air Craft Carriers too. I tried a wood model, too difficult, and a giant sailing ship, Old Ironsides, but I couldn't handle the rigging. That's about when I stopped. At some point my friends and I got hold of some fireworks and blew all my models to kingdom come, like they were destroyed in a war. That was fun.
I tried to get back into it years ago and almost knocked myself unconscious with the glue fumes. Gotta watch that stuff.
A. I remember Game Informer giving Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal rare perfect 10s. That's probably what first alerted me to the series.
B. I switched weapons all the time, especially in boss fights. I would throw a disco ball and then quickly switch to a rocket launcher and let the boss have it while he danced. I did many other combinations too. I don't like how long it takes you to switch weapons but at least going to the menu stops the action so you can switch.
C. Platforming was very simple, I agree.
D. The story does seem streamlined for this game. It's not as long as some of the others and less consistently funny.
E. "world. . . feels lifeless" You just put into words what I was feeling as I began Challenge Mode. There's not enough sentient life on the worlds. About the only silly interaction I did was throw a disco ball into the bar in the Jowai Resort and watch them all boogie down.
I should try a rally racing game. I like the idea of a long offroad course. I don't like closed circuits unless I can crash in them.
I'm not good at spontaneuous conversation myself except with friends I've known for a long time. Even then. . .
I got Persona 4 Golden instead. Birthright just bored me.
