I actually preferred and rented X2 a lot more as a kid, mainly for the motorcycles and slightly darker setting.
However, this has awesome music, presentation and gameplay too and I get why people like it more.
I liked this game, but I didn't love it. I couldn't share in the hype for it. I do find Sonic games addictive though.
I appreciate the music fitting the blog theme.
I just love how big and grand looking these art books are. I want some for Yakuza. The pack-in tiny "art book" with Yakuza 6 did not count.
I like games that deal with themes like this and I loved What's Left of Edith Finch, so this sounds like something I'd like, rough edges and all.

I remember trying to look up a bunch of Prince songs from the Rolling Stone Top 500 songs list and running into copyright issues for all his stuff ... hence I don't know much of his library outside Purple Rain and When Doves Cry
