Fortune Hunters' Club Made Available

Now Uncharted fans can get a discount on buying DLC in bulk.

November 1 can’t come fast enough for some gamers, but the imminent ship date for Sony’s hotly anticipated Uncharted 3 doesn’t mean that they’re quite done with the surprise announcements.  While we already know that Uncharted 3 will support the PSN Pass, today it was revealed that it will also support something called the Fortune Hunters’ Club.

Bearing a striking resemblance to Activision’s Call of Duty: Elite program, the Fortune Hunters’ Club offers an opportunity for particularly exuberant Uncharted fans to secure the first four multiplayer map packs and the first three multiplayer skin packs at the heavily discounted price of $24.99.  If purchased individually the DLC packs are said to fetch a total price of over $45.  In addition to the DLC, Fortune Hunters’ Club members will also receive an exclusive theme, indicating their membership.

Club membership is available for pre-order now at the PlayStation Store and at select retailers.

it's good to see that SCEA is in the mood to dole out a discount pass. I love it when we're NOT being charged full price for DLC.

In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
