Army of Four. That COULD be a great game. Army of Two failed to be more than a decent game. Though it's gameplay premise was great, it needs an overhaul with it's controls to be a truly great game.

It seems that EA needs to get their employees to quiet down, as we have had a lot of rumors leaking out from the company about tons of upcoming projects. There was the story earlier in the week about the possibility of Dead Space getting spun off into different genres, and the rumors of a sequel to Dante’s Inferno. You can add a couple more interesting tidbits to these rumors, as now we’re hearing about a new Army of Two game, and multiplayer coming to Dragon Age.
A source that spoke to Kotaku let slip that EA is working on the third Army of Two game, but this release will be titled Army of Four. As you would imagine, the game is said to feature four player co-op and is being developed on the Frostbite 2 engine. For you savvy graphics hounds out there, you may remember that the Frostbite 2 engine is what Battlefield 3 was developed on. Work on Army of Four is being handled by EA Montreal, but according to the source, things aren’t shaping up well. The informant thinks that EA will move some people from DICE onto the project now that Battlefield 3 has shipped.
Another informant for Kotaku has talked about details for multiplayer in Dragon Age. It is unclear if this is a multiplayer mode for a new entry in the series, or a separate game that could possibly be released digitally, like Battlefield 1943. According to the source, this multiplayer mode features arena battles that include player vs. environment as well as player vs. player battles. The game is also being created on the Frostbite 2 engine, and players can even play as dragons.
Mass Effect 3 will include a co-op multiplayer mode when it launches next March, so it makes sense that EA and BioWare would try to inject some multiplayer into their other big RPG franchise. They also had some success with the Facebook game Dragon Age Legends which, while not a true multiplayer experience, did hinge on players joining each other in battle.
