Former Fable Developers Form Another Place Productions

Dene and Simon Carter have formed a new studio have departing from Peter Molyneux's team.

Former Lionhead Studios staffers Dene and Simon Carter have formed Another Place Productions, a new UK-based studio, according to Joystiq. Both brothers worked on the Fable series and have brought with them several other members of the Fable development team.

Former art director John McCormack, technical director Guillaume Portes, and executive producer Jeremie Texier have all joined Another Place after leaving Lionhead. Simon Carter left last year after satellite studio Big Blue Box, along with others, were absorbed into Lionhead as one complete entity.

Carter expressed interest in developing for the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Steam, and mobile phones platforms but nothing has been announced from Another Place. No word on if this has affected development for the upcoming Kinect title Fable: The Journey over at Lionhead Studios.
