LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias Release Date Announced

The sequel to the popular WiiWare platformer finally has a release date.

Recently, Frontier and Nintendo of America have announced that the sequel to LostWinds, LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias, will be releasing to WiiWare this upcoming Monday, October 19 for 1,000 Nintendo Points ($10).

LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias follows the tale of the main progagonist, Toku as he searches for his mother and attempts to solve the mystery of what happened to the Melodia people years ago.

The main difference between the first and second title is the ability to change between the four seasons, which is crucial for players to solve many of the game's puzzles. An in-game map, hint system, and application of various abilities and objects also differentiate LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias from its predecessor.
