An excellent sequel to one of the best WiiWare launch titles.

When WiiWare initially launched, the platform/adventure title, LostWinds drew a lot of attention due to its high production value and excellent gameplay. The sequel, LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias retains the pedigree of its predecessor and adds many more unique elements, which ultimately create a gaming experience that is much more satisfying than the original. LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias is not only a fantastic sequel, but also one of the best games currently available on Wii.

Nintendo Download: 10/19/2009

Five new titles have been made available for DSiWare, two new titles for WiiWare, and another week of a lone Virtual Console title.

This week's Nintendo Download features five Domo titles on DSiWare, the second round of LostWinds, a new Hudson title, Shootanto for WiiWare, and Rygar makes a Virtual Console appearance.

LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias Release Date Announced

The sequel to the popular WiiWare platformer finally has a release date.

Recently, Frontier and Nintendo of America have announced that the sequel to LostWinds, LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias, will be releasing to WiiWare this upcoming Monday, October 19 for 1,000 Nintendo Points ($10).
