Layton, Ace Attorney Crossover Title Revealed

Level-5 is teaming up with Capcom to create a 3DS game featuring two of their star characters.

Today, Level-5 announced at their annual conference in Tokyo that they are collaborating with Capcom to create a brand new title featuring the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney universes for the 3DS.

Professor Layton vs. Gyakuten Saiban hasn't been announced for any other regions, and details on the title are scarce. At the moment, all that is known is that Takumi Shu, creator of the Ace Attorney series, will be writing a scenario tentatively titled "Witch Hunt" for the game.

It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over.
