Nintendo’s 3DS will be the focus
Nintendo has announced that they will be showing a 3DS focused edition of Nintendo Direct tomorrow morning at 10am EST (7am PST).
Deathstroke, and an Unrefined Batman take Center Stage
Gameinformer has just revealed their May cover which exposes a prequel to the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham games, titled Batman: Arkham Origins. Developed by WB Montreal, Arkham Origins promises a tale of a young, and learning Batman who will face off against some of his most infamous enemies, including Slade Wilson (aka Deathstroke), who will be making his debut appearance.

Nintendo fans are no strangers to having localized versions of enticing Japanese fare dangled in front of them, with no real word of when, or even if the title will make its way over seas. The now infamous “Operation Rainfall” trio took quite some time and a heavy fan based push before even an announcement of localization was made - never mind an actual release date.

Nintendo made many an inner child quite happy this morning by announcing that the main series’ first official foray into 3D will arrive this October in the form of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.

Atlus will localize their throwback dungeon crawler in early 2013
The title says it all - Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan will be localized for North America and is scheduled to release early next year. While this news is not likely to surprise anyone considering Atlus has localized every game in the franchise thus far, it’s still comforting to have official word from the publisher.

For months, the online superstore has not stocked or sold Nintendo hardware directly, but today the cold war appears to have ended. The developer who designed the critically acclaimed Kid Icarus: Uprising has shut its doors recently. Unfortunately, the company has released a statement on their website noting that they closed on June 30, 2012. The company was spawned as a joint venture between Sakurai and Nintendo and funded almost entirely by the Big N.
