Sir Paul McCartney is known for such classic hit songs as "Hey Jude", "My Love" and "No More Lonely Nights", as well as being a member of Wings and, of course, The Beatles. The legendary recording artist has now told an interviewer for Germany's Die Zeit that he is working on music for a video game. And no, its not The Beatles: Rock Band 2.

Resident Evil 6 Demo To Be Included in Copies of Dragon's Dogma

Zombies and Dragons unite!

Resident Evil 6 was revealed only a couple of weeks ago but already possible details have been coming in. Capcom hasn't wasted anytime stirring up interest for the latest installment in the main story line of its survival horror franchise. Its latest reveal to get gamers pumped for RE6 is the inclusion of a demo of the game in Capcom's new game, Dragon's Dogma.

Prototype 2 Preorders Get Radnet Service Free

Service to reward preorders with bonus content.

It’s no secret that publishers are not fans of the used games market.  They’ve attempted to sway gamers to buy new whether it’s through online passes, the promise of a free downloadable game or pre-order DLC.  With Prototype 2, Activision is taking another route to incentivize gamers.  Those that preorder the game will get free access to Radnet – a program that will reward users with additional content.

Susan Panico will no longer lead the Playstation Network in North America.

The head of the Playstation Network is no longer a part of Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA). Susan Panico became a part of the company in 1994, and was promoted to Senior Director of Playstation Network in February 2007.

NetherRealm Wants to Make More Than Mortal Kombat Games

Ed Boon can't imagine leaving the series behind, but wants to diversify.

Since the early 1990s, Ed Boon has worked on the Mortal Kombat series almost exclusively. He created the arena-based arcade shooter The Grid back in 2001, but besides that, Boon (and most of the team that now comprises NetherRealm Studios) has been all about the gory fighting franchise. With the latest Mortal Kombat game selling over 3 million copies so far, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Boon and his team would want to get cranking on another iteration right away. Or is it? In a new interview, Mr. Boon talks just a bit about the future of NetherRealm.

Everquest Going Free-To-Play

The original MMO is going the free route.

Way back in 1997, Sony Online Entertainment released EverQuest and introduced the MMO to a mainstream market. It's been 15 years since then and a sequel has come and gone free-to-play, and now the original is following suite. Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the original Everquest is going free-to-play.

Pink 3DS Coming February 10

Just in time for Valentine's Day!

Nintendo is releasing a pink 3DS in America, just in time for Valentine's Day. A Pearl Pink edition of the handheld will be available at retail on February 10, 2012. This edition of the 3DS was previously available as a limited edition bundle but will now be available by itself.

Monster Hunter Vita Coming This Year?

Could Monster Hunter be just what the Vita needs?

It’s hard to say that the Japanese PlayStation Vita launch has been a resounding success.  Slow sales have many gamers proclaiming the handheld’s demise even before it is launched in North America and Europe next month.  Even with near abysmal sales, PlayStation France CEO Philippe Cardon doesn’t believe there is anything to worry about, saying that the Japanese launch only lacked a special something that will be coming later this year: Monster Hunter.
