Ivy the Kiwi? Review

Yuji Naka and Prope deliver solid gameplay with an incredibly charming presentation.

Prope, founded by Sonic creator, Yuji Naka, is quickly becoming know for their low budget, simplistic games on the Wii. They originally came to market with the quirky Let's Tap, and its equally weird brother, Let's Catch. Since then, Naka had a son and was subsequently inspired to produce a game that would appeal to the toddler. The result of that effort is the undeniably cute, Ivy the Kiwi?.

Scott Pilgrim vs. Jason Ross

Jason gives his spoiler-free take on the latest video game movie.

Gunblade NY & L.A. Machineguns: Arcade Hits Pack Review

The good old days, when machineguns were mounted on a swivel to the arcade cabinet and ammo wasn't even a concern.

Light gun games have a come a long way since they were introduced many years ago. One of the first I can remember playing as a kid was Gunblade NY from Sega. The cabinet featured two mounted machineguns and the gameplay encouraged constant gripping of the trigger. As the years have gone by, players have experienced far deeper missions, a variety of guns, and some more complicated cabinets to do simple pointing and shooting. With the latest release from Sega, players have the ability to step back in time and enjoy two classics of the genre, Gunblade NY and L.A. Machineguns.
