inFamous: Second Son Review

Power Fantasy

Entire consoles and companies have risen and fallen on the expectations of  exclusive, first party titles like Second Son. Often seen as the PS4’s first must buy game, there is a lot on the line with Sucker Punches first foray into the new console. While elements of the game may not live up to the grand expectations, once you make it past the hype still you get a sequel that not only stands on its own, but is also engaging, pretty, and a heck of a lot of fun.

Digital Mystery Tour Episode 12: Fight On

We’ve known about Infamous: Second Son for a while now, but never did I imagine that the game would look this enticing. Sucker Punch had a strong showing during Sony’s Press Conference with this latest entry into the Infamous universe, and all signs are pointing in the right direction for the series.

Nintendo Reveals Upcoming eShop Schedule

Content includes Sega Game Gear titles.

In a recent press release, Nintendo outlined their eShop release schedule for the coming month. A variety of titles are due for release, most notably the first batch of Game Gear titles from Sega.

Digital HD Versions of Sly Games Won't Have Mini Games

You won't be getting your PS Move mini games if you download.

About two weeks ago, Sony announced that The Sly Collection would be available on the PSN and now some more details are coming in before its release tomorrow. The three games will be $10 each, will be in 720p widescreen display, have 3D support, trophy support, and will run at 60 fps.

Now they can be bought individually.

Fans of the Sly Cooper franchise were delighted when The Sly Collection came to retail. It featured the three PlayStation 2 games remastered in HD and with Trophy support among other features, some hidden from players up until that point. Well, if you haven't picked up the collection yet, here's another way to get your Cooper fix.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Preview

inFAMOUS 2: Festival of Blood Review

There's a bloody good time to be had in New Marais.

There has been this perception that Festival of Blood was DLC; that it was some kind of small addition to inFAMOUS 2 which was released earlier this year.  It's an easy assumption to make since FoB takes place in New Marais, the New Orleans of InFAMOUS’ fictional world and the setting of Cole’s second adventure.  It would only make sense that you would need to have a copy of the game in order to enjoy this expansion, but the lovely folks at Sucker Punch Productions wanted to gift the entire PlayStation 3 community with this gem and as such released it as a stand-alone title.
